About Fountains Church

Fountains is a new Church planted in Autumn 2019 by the Diocese of Leeds part of the Church of England. Located in the centre of Bradford Fountains Church occupies an old nightclub complex. The building has been undergoing development over the past two years and is due to be fully renovated in 2024.

Fountains is made up of a number of different worshipping communities that meet throughout the week. We believe that the Gospel is for everyone and that all should have the opportunity to know the love God has for them. These worshipping communities support people from the different demographics that Bradford is made up of and we hope to share the light of Jesus with as many people as possible in our community.

Whether you’re on a faith journey or not, we welcome you to join us at Fountains. Come as you are, and together, let us deepen our faith and share God’s love with those around us.

Our vision as a Church is to ‘Love God, Belong Together, and Bless Bradford’. To do that we are very passionate about worshipping God when we come together, we have lots of opportunities to get to know each other as we grow together as disciples of Jesus and we love our City and do all we can to promote positive change. We are especially looking forward to being part of Bradford City of Culture 2025.

Part of Fountain’s mission is to see the revitalisation of Churches across the city.

We’re excited to be in partnership with St Michael & St Aidan’s, Shelf Butterhsaw and St Margaret’s Frizinghall. Our dream is to see Churches working together across the network to strengthen one another and to advance the Gospel in the communities they serve.
